Frequently Asked Questions

You will receive at least 18 different types of stones, fossils and crystals in our 1 Gallon Mining Bucket with many of them in multiple sizes or color patterns (approximately 40-50 stones in total). These buckets also include our sand for a total weight of approximately 10-15 pounds.

We also have an amazing add on section, to create an even more unique mining experience. Each add on is priced per piece. Our inventory is constantly growing and changing and items are subject to change based on availability. 

Our confetti sand is triple filtered play sand sprinkled with a variety of small tumbled stones.

Our gems and crystals are 100% authentic. We only work with vetted vendors from around the world to ensure of our products are authentic and ethically sourced.  If something is manmade or heat-treated, it will be clearly labeled.

We recommend using a container filled with water to sift the sand away from the gemstones (especially the smaller hidden gems!). If you did not purchase one of our sifters, a common kitchen colander can be used to separate the gemstones from the mining rough.

Yes, an identification chart does come with each order.  This may not include all the stones in your bucket due to our inventory constantly growing and changing. You can learn more about our stones at the "Explore" link above.

In our experience kids over the age of 4 tend to do well mining for crystals. However, we recommend all children be supervised by an adult as some stones may present a choking hazard.
